Peace and Quiet
Landscape photography, a still photo medium, tends to target scenes that are static, therefore often quiet and peaceful. For many, this peaceful, thoughtful quality is part of the appeal in taking the photos. Working with exposure times and available light can enhance this further. It's often said that working slower creates a mindset that improves the result.
